Cobb County Audiology Services provides complete diagnostic hearing evaluations for any child from two years of age through high school graduation (21) who resides in the Cobb County School District. Marietta City School District students need to contact their school nurse or the Director of Special Education Services for pre-approval for testing. Evaluations are provided by licensed audiologists. We can test children with multiple disabilities, those who are difficult to test and children who are at increased risk for permanent hearing loss.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will I get test results on that day?

Yes, you will be given a copy of the test results at your visit.

2. What should I bring to the testing?

Please bring any previous audiological test results.  DUE to food allergies no outside food is permitted in the office.

3. Can I bring other siblings?

No.  ONLY one person may accompany your child. NO other siblings are permitted in the building due to Covid-19 guidelines and best practice. There are spots marked "audiology parking". Please park, stay in your car and call us when you arrive.

4. What if I am late for my appointment?

If you have not completed the history form or are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we will have to reschedule your appointment.

5. Do I need to bring an interpreter?

Our secretary speaks Spanish and can interpret test results.

6. Is there a charge for this service?

No. All audiological testing is FREE for children who reside in Cobb County School District. Marietta City School District students need prior approval for testing.
